Actually Mark, I just remembered. This is how the migrants were rounded up and deported. Trace and tracking, surveillance software. Also the resistance on compuses, was traced and tracked from Israel. I don't have the link. You have to research it.

"President Trump’s July 4 “Salute to America” heaped praise on the U.S. Armed Forces but also generated concern about potentially politicizing the military". This is a quote by PBS, on Trump's first term. He made it all about the military.

The Flag represents Freedom, and Liberty from government. The stars kisses from the Heavens. And the union of the Heavens with Earth, the 13 stripes. Making the flag about him and the military is dictatorial usurpation of freedom by government that opposes Liberty from government. Standing armies on American soil was exactly why the Founding Fathers fought a revolution against. A message to Americans: don't allow USA become another Israel, an oppressive militarized surveillance police State. Nationalism is a pretended patriotism. It's militaristic and does not value Freedom nor defends it.

No Kings day is arranged by the same corporate Democrats at Indivisible that arranged the "Hands off NATO" Protest. This is a pink pussy hat protest 3.0. They certainly don't want anyone to say "Free Palestine" at No Kings Day

Who cares if they don't want you speaking up about Gaza!!!

I would suggest people do what I have done at previous Indivisible-related events: Show up with signs calling out and opposing the US/Israel genocide.

Here's my report from a recent event organized by local Dems and Indivisible: "BUILDING UNITY IN A TIME OF FASCISM: Bringing Gaza To 'Hands Off' ".... https://mark192.substack.com/p/building-unity-in-a-time-of-fascism

We have a full on fascist putsch going on. No time for sectarian squabbling. Show up at the demonstrations and speak up for our Palestinian brothers and sisters and if the organizers are uneasy with that tell 'em to find their soul or screw off.

not aligning with Democrats who enable fascism & voted to continue genocide. It’s a fundraising photo op for them. They are not substantively challenging Trump in any way. This is a massive virtue signal.

One of the (many) reasons the left is completely unable to meet the challenge of this fascist putsch is because they can't do politics anymore. Politics is not about demanding 100% agreement before aligning with a group or joining a collective action. You want 100% philosophical/political agreement with every person you work with and you'll be a crowd of one.

Politics is about discussion and debate, presenting arguments and defending them. It's about disagreeing on several issues while aligning on two or three. It's about building coalitions. It's not about woke litmus tests or demands of ideological purity.

The protests I have gone to that involve Indivisible have been organized by broad coalition of groups ranging from Democrats to socialists to independent local groups focused on things like mutual care and food programs.

When I've gone to events involving Indivisible with my signage opposing the genocide I have never had anyone tell me to leave and in fact, I regularly have people come up and agree with my signs and thanking me for showing up. I don't know what the organizers think about my presence and really don't give a flying F. If they were to tell me to leave I would stand opposite them across the street and picket. I will speak out for the Palestinians whether that is doing the occasional solo picket at a busy intersection in my home town or going to a massive protest organized by groups I may disagree with.

I think if the average Palestinian were asked whether they would rather have me stay home because I don't have 100% agreement with some of the organizers of a protest or show up with a sign advocating for their rights they would choose the later. It's the only moral thing to do as the fascist boot is crushing the country.

I discovered that you're not welcomed with pro-Palestine signage at Dem events. They will stare you down and walk away from you. Too many Zy0nists in their ranks, I guess.

So? Great!!!!

All the more reason to show up.

Protest in front of allies or people who just don't care and haven't two brain cells to rub together is not really protest. Walk right in among the performative Dem demonstrators and challenge their cowardly hypocrisy and -- perhaps with a few -- get them to begin questioning the narrative they have fallen for.

A sign I have carried in some of these Indivisible-related demos says "GOP & Dems (Heart) War". Some have stared at me and turned their backs. GOOD! Let them stare and maybe at some point late at night their conscience will awaken.

Protest isn't meant to be easy, RC. At least REAL effective protest is not easy.

Think of those courageous civil rights protesters who sat in at southern whites-only lunch counters in the 50s and 60s. They didn't protest at a Black-owned diner to sit around and whine about how terrible things were ... which is exactly what today's 'left' does.

Today's left is too meek and in that meekness, complicit with the very forces they claim to oppose. What if all you folks who did the weekly Gaza protest showed up as a group at 'No Kings' with signs challenging Dem Hypocrisy in Gaza. That would be the courage and integrity of the lunch counter protests. If they kick you out, fine, cross the street and picket their hypocrisy. (Have some signs made up for that possibility.)

We do our weekly pro-Palestine protests on Saturdays, so I'll leave all the King Trump-moaning to the Dems. People are starving to death in Gaza, so I put their needs first before my own.

Um, no, take the Palestinian cause right into the middle of the enablers. See my note above.

Let us also note, protesting Trump is NOT ignoring the genocide. As president, Trump is actively supporting, arming and diplomatically excusing the slaughter. Trump makes it all possible. It began as Biden's genocide, now it is fully Trump's. You can't protest Gaza and not protest Trump -- the chief enabler of it all.

Ignoring Trump is ACTIVELY enabling the continued genocide. Trump could literally end it all in a phone call. Trump is the embodiment of the Zionist corruption that makes the genocide continue. They are one and the same. Inseparable. To protest one, you have to protest the other.
