"There's not a site in Europe that's safe from this missile. This can take out targets that previously only could have been taken out by nuclear weapons.”
Understood, but use the information to challenge the sick narrative in whatever way you can find. Jacobsen's book is a tough, but absolutely essential resource.
you know, this one is breaking me. I am scared absolutely shitless and the newspaper of ‘record’ yesterday featured Kim Kardashian above the fold (even though she drives a tesla - maybe she’s not really a Trumper! For fuck sake.)
We are as close to nuclear annihilation as we have ever been. The president of the US has cottage cheese brains, we have no fucking idea who is running the country, and Trump is allowing his unqualified shit-for-motherfucking brains to mouth off and threaten and insult Putin.
And the Times reports on Kim Kardashian’s possible political leanings.
The failure and the bias of the news has just gone beyond all limits. This is scary. I'm old enough to remember the Cuban Missile Crisis and how my family stocked up food in a basement fallout shelter and my parents reviewed with us what we would need to do. Now it's eh, never mind, check out Kim Kardashian. The United States is just a sick and dying joke.
Have you ever read “Midnight at Chernobyl”? The way some of those poor men who stayed and attempted to shut it down died is enough to make one weep.
No radiation poisoning for me; I have a large bottle of Seroquel I’m prepared to take. (The difference between myself and many others being that I have no fear of death, only PAINFUL death.)
And I won’t leave my fur kids behind either, though I’m still working on that one.
Should I assume it's not worth pointing out that "Orestnik" is largely still in the prototype stage; has massive reliability issues, + had a catastrophic launch-test failure that destroyed one of their testing facilities and killed a few of their R+D personnel?
I'm sure Ritter knows that; tho' he may be "discouraged" from talking about it.
I hadn't heard that. Despite whatever problems they had with development, the damn thing worked perfectly the other night. Ritter isn't the only one who sees it as a major, successful weapon that does change the game.
Except it doesn't "change the game"; because for all we know, there may not be more than one of them. Consider the allegedly "game-changing" T14 Armata tank.
I’m going to be sick!

Understood. Oh man!

Awesome post, as usual!
Fuck🫠
No, no, Jasmine, really, they know better than us. We can trust them. They're such nice guys!
Oreshnik has AMERICANS SHITTING THEIR PANTS.
But can that overcome their entitled arrogance? That is the question.
Hi Mark
Have you ever read “Midnight at Chernobyl”? The way some of those poor men who stayed and attempted to shut it down died is enough to make one weep.

No, I haven't but I followed that story closely at the time the meltdown happened. I just saw a video on the Los Alamos staffer killed in a radiation exposure incident. His death was really grisly. Here is a BBC story on him: https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20230719-the-blue-flash-louis-slotin-accident-manhattan-project-oppenheimer-atomic-bomb
Lol.
