Mark, you might be interested in Dmitri Lascarus and his Substack, Reason2Resist. He is a lawyer based in Montreal and here is a recent conversation he had recently with a journalist in Mexico.
Mark, a big ol’ THANK YOU for the video! It informed me of many facts I was unaware of. I thought if the piggies came to your door, you were required to answer.
Do a little research on the "No Trespassing" sign, there can be legal risks for that. This is especially true if you have a dog that might get a little too aggressive. A NT-sign can be used against you in a liability situation being seen as knowing a danger but not adequately taking steps to train or restrain the dog. I'm guessing it could even be used if you have a cracked or uneven sidewalk and somebody falls. Again, I'm no lawyer, but have seen some stuff on the TP-sign issue. Just give it a little search on YTube.
FYI here in Canada my husband and l paid $860 in January to have our 15 year old Chocolate Lab euthanized after already paying thousands for a previous surgery, various meds, x-rays and a CT scan. Then in July we had to pay a similar amount to have his older sister euthanized.
My husband and l are seniors living off meagre Canada pensions but, thankfully, our Liberal government and healthcare system offer MAID (Medical Assistance in Dying) for FREE. After 10 years of passing bills and implementing policies that are literally driving us crazy they recently extended MAID to cover those who have incurable mental disorders as well.
One thing we are grateful for is their gun buy-back scheme (to which they have already invested $67 Million) has recouped ZERO weapons.
PS This law only affects licensed and legally registered gun owners like, you know, big game hunters, remote ranchers, First Nations and peace loving citizens that own F** Trudeau flags. ;-)
Sorry to hear about your dogs. Vet bills can really be high.
Interesting on the gun buyback things. My guess is there would be a similar response if such a thing were to pass in the US. I do believe under Trump they will manufacture some kind of targeted buyback system.

Thanks, Mark.
No dogs here, only eight beautiful kitties and an empty stall where a horse should be.
