"The more things change, the more they stay the same." This is the motto of the upcoming Trump administration, part 2. More violence, more racism, more hate, same ol' same ol' uniparty/duopoly shit.

Nothing surprises me anymore. I won't spend my time worrying about things like Trump and company. I'll be too busy fighting back. Join me.

This post should be a wake (sic) up call for MAGA true believers. Don't worship false idols. Donald 'little Rocket man' or big Superman Trump is just an image.

The USA, tragically, is just in a COG 'Continuity of Government' FOG run by the Corporate Banksters MIC Deep State no less than it was under Obama-Biden.

Big money, crypto king Trump intends to Make Israel Greater if it takes the last American to do it!

The only hope is if Americans pull out of the $$Dollar system e.g. Wall Streets' inflated and over leveraged stocks, junk bonds, REITs etc.etc. to sink the Banksters, put the economy through bankruptcy reorganization and begin retooling/ rebuilding the American economy for manufacturing.

A peacetime economy using the Army Corps of Engineers to rebuild our collapsing infrastructure. Real productive jobs for American youth as was done by F.D.R. in 1933-1938.

It was no coincidence that Harry Hopkins, FDRs closest advisor, was also a close associate of Chief of Staff US Army, George Wallace.

Charles, I have another Trumpster wake up call posting in about an hour.

Every time I go into the beautiful Post Office in my small community I think of what this country could once do to care for the people. It was built in the 1930s and, like all Post Offices of that era, it features a wonderful mural by a local artist depicting life in the community. Could anyone in this government today even ENVISION such community care and respect? Sadly, no.

Thomas Frank asked “where is some enterprising young politician?” And I would answer — they’re silenced before they even have a chance to change anything. Two members of Congress criticized Israel and AIPAC spent $11 million to get their opponents elected. Until the money is taken out, nothing will change and in ten years or less, we’ll be a full blown banana republic. Lobbyists run America — run it into the ground, that is.

You are absolutely right. That's why I think the political process is as dead and cold as a vending machine ... "Step right up and make yer' choice, folks ... Pepsi or Coca-Cola!"

We need direct action ... unionization, strikes, occupations, alternative media, mutual aid, targeted boycotts, RESISTANCE. I think it will come, but it really needs to happen fast because those deportation camps aren't just for immigrants. I think we a year from now we will be in a world most of us can't even imagine.

Well, hey! What would some folks whinge about for the next four years?

I don't know anyone personally who has rose-colored glasses about Trump. Lesser evil is lesser evil, though, and the most I hope for is stopping Ukraine war and/or getting rid of the f-ing jabs. Anything else is gravy. Not like there was any viable better choice, and, I repeat, what would folks post about for the next four years?

I do kinda think the Dems are happy to hand over - they just did not tell the rank and file. Or the "celebrities" with the "big platforms". I admit, Clooney sounded, well, loony as fuck with his rambling about how we peasants should listen to him because he has lots of fans. Made less sense than DeNiro, and that's quite a feat. And what a magnificent job of money-laundering was the Dem campaign! No wonder Kamala is being floated for California governor - she brings in the cash, without shouldering any of the responsibilities. Kudoes.

Looney to base one's vote on whatever George Clooney has to say.

The only celebrity endorsement that will mean anything to me is when some celebrity says, "Me? What the hell do I know about politics and public policy? Go study and read up on the issues and make your own informed decision like an adult."

Now THERE'S a celebrity worth listening to.
