ZIONIST OCCUPATION OF AMERICA: Censorship, Tyranny & Suppression Of Free Speech Oozes Across The Land
While preening American platitudes about “freedom, justice and democracy” have long spun out to silly irrelevance, the current US war crime has gone beyond the pale and all the masks have fallen away.

Grayzone journalist and author Max Blumenthal recently visited students at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst the day after many of them had been assaulted, zip-tied, detained and abused by police for protesting the US/Israel genocide in Gaza.
Blumenthal’s 2014 book “Goliath: Life & Loathing In Greater Israel” was the result of on-the-ground reporting and witnessing in Israel and Gaza. The book provides excellent background and context to the US/Israeli atrocities we see unfolding before us daily. (Amazon actually has a good overview of the book, but order from your local bookseller.)
Blumenthal’s hour-long presentation is an excellent concise summary of how the US/Israel genocidal assault on the people of Gaza came about and the current status of the conflict. He also does an excellent overview of the political realities behind the fully bipartisan support and enabling of one of the worst human rights tragedies in the history of the Middle East.
Preening platitudes
While preening American platitudes about “freedom, justice and democracy” have long spun out to silly irrelevance, the current US war crime has gone beyond the pale; it’s now so blatantly on display that all the masks have fallen from the government, corporate media, the university industrial complex and Democrats. It’s all standing bare ass now.
“It’s obvious the Democrats who deserve the most disdain because they are the biggest hypocrites,” Blumenthal notes. “They’re the ones who say they are for diversity, equity and inclusion — DEI — and they are the ones ultimately insuring Palestinians DIE.”
Blumenthal’s talk is rich with details and context that never make it into the gruel of daily corporate news. Watch and learn the answers to a few revealing questions:
Who raised Sec. of State (and acting president) Tony Blinken and what are the generational family ties to Israeli Zionism? And where the hell did all that money for his mansion come from?
When he was a kid, which house guest did future Donald Trump son-in-law (and aspiring Gaza seaside luxury resort developer) Jared Kushner have to give his bedroom up to? My guess is they had to steam clean and doubly disinfect the bed sheets after every visit.
When scandal-rotted Democrat Sen. Bob Menendez ran up big legal bills a few years ago, who paid them all off for him?
What is the tie between the Ohio State University Board of Trustees and Jeffrey Epstein and how does that control university policy?
Why is Elon Musk suddenly inviting anti-semitic social media influencers and trolls back onto Twitter/X at the same time he had buddied up to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu? And just where do most anti-antisemitism hoaxes really come from and why?
Blumenthal ends his presentation with a rallying call and essential challenge in our time of fascism: “There’s something everyone can do.”
Let’s do it.
Our lives and freedoms are on the line.
The Occupation Comes Home - Journalist Max Blumenthal At UMass
The Grayzone (5/14/24)
Max Blumenthal spoke on May 8, 2024 at UMass-Amherst hours after state police brutally repressed an encampment of students protesting the US-backed genocide in Gaza. There, he addressed the Palestine solidarity uprising on campuses across the country, and explains how the elite reaction triggered by October 7 has exposed Israeli influence over the major American institutions, from academia to Congress to local law enforcement agencies.

"A Racist, Criminal Project": Palestinian Historian On 1948 Nakba, Israel's War On Gaza & U.S. Role
Democracy Now! (5/15/24)
Palestinians across the globe are marking the 76th anniversary of the Nakba — which means "catastrophe" in Arabic — when those establishing the state of Israel violently expelled over 700,000 Palestinians. Palestinian historian Abdel Razzaq Takriti says closer to 900,000 Palestinians were forced out or massacred during Israel's founding, which is being celebrated inside Israel with calls to ethnically cleanse and settle the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.
"The Nakba is continuing. This is a colonial continuum," says Takriti. "It's not enough to commemorate. It's not enough to talk about it. We have to stop it right now. … The first step to doing that is to stop the genocide in Gaza."
Takriti lays out four principles for Nakba education:
Refuting Nakba denialism.
Recognizing the Nakba is part of an ongoing process of settler colonialism.
Stopping that process.
Reversing it by restoring Palestinian national rights.

"“It’s obvious the Democrats who deserve the most disdain because they are the biggest hypocrites,” Blumenthal notes. “They’re the ones who say they are for diversity, equity and inclusion — DEI — and they are the ones ultimately insuring Palestinians DIE.”
Well said. One would wish it was the other way around -- Dems DIE.
Almost all journalists writing about Israeli crimes and bullying are ignoring the most important underlying factor in the grassroots, and that is, "Christian" Zionism, preached and believed for decades. It is still the bastion of it.
