Heavens! I've never looked at Trump's orange face that much before. He really is an ugly spud, isn't he? Ugly inside = ugly outside. Not fooling anybody anymore that he's to be trusted.
It's good to focus on the power of the people than the narcissism of the oligarchy anyway. Remember the Economic Blackout on February 28th!
Hmm, bananas, too. Thanks for the tip, I'll give ICE a call, right after my morning coffee. Oh, shit, that stuff is from there, too. I need to think about it.
Really appreciate your highlights Mark. Ontario goes to the polls next week but, we're expecting the incumbant Conservative Premier Doug Ford to win again. He's fighting back against Trump tariffs and for our auto workers in Windsor.
He's also suggested blocking the hydro electricity that feeds your N.E. power grid. I am sorry that the American people are starting to suffer under Trump like we've suffered under Justin Trudeau since 2015 and sincerely hope normalcy returns soon.
Thanks, Shelley. I've seen a few things about Ford standing up to and calling out Trump and his stupid tariff scam. It's good he's standing up for the auto workers. The suffering here is going to accelerate as the effects of Musk/Trump ineptitude rip at the economy and social fabric. I think we could see a real storm of consequence by summer.
I worry now for the federal workers abruptly fired from their jobs and the impacts that will have on their families and communities. There has been very little coverage of that, but federal employees may be frightened to speak out as the militias are gathering their brainless minions.
On an intellectual level, I understand coups happen fast but on an emotional level it is just so bizarre and has a sense of "this can't be happening". History is doing a back flip.
The farmers in Iowa, and to their credit the local Democrats who showed up, illustrate the best way to fight any of Trump's cuts one does not like.
You have to show what the particular funds cut actually fund, and the real people who will be hurt by their loss. It is impossible to accomplish that by demonstrating in front of a federal building because most working class people feel they are not real to the federal bureaucracy. They don't see the cuts that might hurt THEM.
You can say that's inaccurate all you want, but that's how most people feel about it. But they don't feel that way about farmers, or many other occupations and professions.
One problem I have run into is that the local Congress cretin does not hold town halls. It's been years since there was one near me. I call Congress multiple times a week since the genocide began ... literally a couple hundred calls. I've had three call backs. I just don't see the corrupt political scam as an avenue to anything good at this point. I make my calls and send emails and await joining people in the streets, whenever enough people wake up.

Trump's as dead white and intellectually sharp as an over-boiled spud.
We really shouldn't insult potatoes so much. They are tasty. (Unlike Trump who is just sour.)
Okay, yeah, you are right. Even the dullest potato is a genius compared to anyone leading our government in either party.
didn't potatoes immigrate from South America?

Yikes! They did! They originally were tiny purplish root veggies that the Inca showed to the Spanish Conquistadores... Quick call ICE!
Thank God for ICE!!!
See, they're not even white ! Sneakily pretending to be “Freedom Fries”. Send them back to where they came from !
