We insist that all the great problems confronting humanity in the 21st century—war, poverty and social inequality, the drive toward fascism and dictatorship by governments internationally—are the outcome of capitalism and can only be addressed through the taking of political power by the working class and its establishment of a socialist society, founded on genuine equality.
In order to fight for socialism today, young people must understand the history of struggles of the working class in the 20th century. ...

Excellent points are made here. We definitely need to work as a community. Thing is, most people are too propagandized to recognize a true community when they are presented with it. I am referring to the candidacy of Dr. Cornel West. His campaign was about "a moment in a movement", and his website (which is still kept current, as Cornel insists, the movement cannot just organize every 4 years for an election, and then just sit back and do nothing). I worked for the West/Abdullah campaign, trying to educate people as to the very points made in this article, which was the emphasis of the campaign effort. Everyone that I talked to started their side of the conversation with, "but he can't win", and then closed their minds to even listening to the gist of the campaign's message, which was not so much about winning the office of the presidency, but about uniting the hearts and minds of the people. I am still actively promoting these values, but the propaganda on the status quo side of things is so powerful that it is difficult to get people to think beyond the current stupid statements made by No. 47, the Republicans, and the Democrats. There are community organizations, and local trade unions, working hard to unite us. People need to step away from their digital screens and attend community meetings and/or protests so that they can understand the messages out there, and decide where they want to put their own time and effort.
I’ll give ya a strategy: firearms. Fuck any imaginary “peaceful” revolution. Ain’t gonna work. Was the American Revolution peaceful?
Luigi was just the beginning. We need to put the fear of god into the pondscum making these decisions. Even one at a time will pile up into a “bale of straw”, and it won’t harm a single camel.
Just brilliant, Val - and so VERY true!
Marvelous and important

What people need to understand and grasp is that if you vote Democrat or Republican you, your family and community are destined to lose.
Yup, they are one and the same.
This is heavy on rhetoric, empty on strategy and tactics. Give us a to-do list if you want ACTION instead of navel gazing.
