War is not appropriate for the new millennium. It should be obsolete. It is no way to solve international problems, and we need to realize that.

The trick is to organize and toughen up to oppose and stop those -- like our entire government and economic system -- who LOVE and profit from war.

And put an end to the cabal that has been/is running most of the world, and certainly hoarding 90% of all the wealth! THAT is a HUGE part of the problem, in my view-- CAPITALISM. We need some very creative thinking about a better way to do things... Nobody would need war if everyone is fed, clean, healthy, housed, clothed, and doing work that is meaningful and rewarding-- and I don't mean by "rewarding" that MONEY is the thing. We need a Whole New Paradigm. And it's coming!

I think BRICS will help with that.

No, they'll just want their wars for profit and theft.

A dear friend of mine, an M.D., performed one of his internships in a VA Hospital. On one floor were the vets from WW2, Vietnam, etc who were mutilated beyond recognition but alive. On that floor he tells of a Vietnam Vet who had his legs and lower torso blown off. My friend’s job, every day, was to reach up into the man’s bowels and pull the shit out by hand. That vet wasn’t really aware of anything … but he was alive… 15 years after the war was over. I never forgot that story and I think of all the ‘brave men’ who are now just forgotten meat in VA’s across the country. Lord have mercy on us

And meanwhile the generals retire with fat pensions and go to work for Boeing and Lockheed Martin and the Congressional thieve who sent the young off to war collect campaign donations from the same companies.

I worked in a VA psych ward/rehab ward a few years (decades) ago. Even during a relatively "peaceful" time period (no big active conflicts going on), it was amazing how crowded the wards were and how many vets had to wait until there was an opening for them to get in to receive the mental health care. This is how little we care about our vets in the US that we can't even give them the care that they need in a timely manner. We need to listen to Scott and others like him who have served and know that war is NOT the way to deal with conflicts of interests. As the song says, "War! What is it good for? Absolutely nothing!"

Absolutely. Wish there was the kind of anti-war music now that we had in the 60s and 70s.

For those who don't know the song: "Edwin Starr - War (What is it good for) + Lycris HQ!!"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztZI2aLQ9Sw

Edwin Starr's message is as relevant today as then. After our decades of bloody, useless warmaking since, even more so.

YES. I've been listening to Scott Ritter for a while now, mostly on "Judging Freedom," the show done by Judge Napolitano, who hosts a whole slew of experts who actually tell the truth about what's going on and what HAS gone on... So yay! Glad to see this post... I subscribed to Scott's SS page, and while there are a whole bunch of very educated and cool folks that read it and comment, there are also a lot of TROLLS. I do think SS is being infiltrated, rather heavily, right now, and I put it down to the fear the Bad Guys are feeling as more and more of We the Peeps are getting clued in to what's happening. Things are really shifting, feels like to me. Anyway, Good Post about a Good Guy. Cheers!

I agree, Napolitano has an excellent group or regulars. There was a report out this past week that Israeli Intel -- and you can bet the CIA/NSA -- have been mounting a massive trolling campaign in an attempt to overwhelm/intimidate those of us documenting the lies of the US/Israeli ZioNazi state.

So far SubStack has been standing tall, though I understand there have been people doing subscription stacks who have had problems being demonetized. Since I just make everything available for free I don't know a lot about the issue.

We can expect more efforts like shutting down TikTok and de-platforming podcasters off YouTube. So far, Rumble seems to be standing strong. Meanwhile, I've been looking for an old mimeograph machine!!!

We have much commonality, I fink. ;)

Substack in my opinion, is under siege right now... My stack is also free to everyone, but I find that STRIPE is a very, very stinky entity, and that's a monopoly on SS that I've always been suspicious about... I've actually felt that we're like a fly trap... We like to think we're not censored, but I'll be damned if we're not MONITORED.

That aside, I think when the time comes, OUR internet will be shut down, and the Nasties' internet will continue-- they have their own, y'know! arrrrrgh

I have NO doubt that the CIA/NSA/FBI and every other alphabet gang is keeping an eye on Substack. It seems a good idea not to keep ALL your money/wealth in a bank, or in any digital realm... The shit WILL hit the fan sooner than later, I'd say... I think it was Scott Ritter who said he thought we'd be in it, my term, "in it," by the end of summer. Get ready. Stock drinking water and food that doesn't need cooking. But I feel like it's not gonna be as WWIII/Nuclear Holocaust Hell as many think it will be. It's just a feeling, though, that's all. We will have to slog for a while tho, because we will have to bring down those psycho fux, The "Black Nobility" before we can start a New World.

A friend called an hour or so ago to say he had heard US missiles hit in the Russian port of Savastapol (sp?). So far I haven't seen anything. I think the only thing that will keep things from going nuclear is luck.

As for stocking up? You bet.

None that I have heard of. He not only wasn't permitted to use it, they TOOK it from him and they still have it. Ritter has been on their target list since he blew the whistle on the WMD Cheney/Bush lies that sent us in on the genocidal war in Iraq. A government of criminals cannot tolerate an honest man.
