"A culture that demands certain political allegiances from its writers and artists at the risk of losing career opportunities is one that is antithetical to democratic values, and harkens back to the McCarthy-era Hollywood blacklist that barred writers from employment on suspicions of “subversive” and “un-American” leanings."

This is what the discrimination against anti-genocide journalists/writers reminds me of--the Hollywood blacklisting and the McCarthy witch hunt. It's why I'm writing only on Substack on these topics... None of my other publishers cares to hear about the genocide of innocent civilians. I look forward to some day in the future when the majority of publishers will be open to hearing about the treachery and the immoral actions of the US/West in their funding/arming and covering for Israel's genocide.

I'll share this with who I can.

Right or Left, most people in the USA won't care.

They're to busy thinking they are free.

But some will care and some of those will act and that's far better than none.

Corporate media journalists don’t have the cojones to do anything in support of true journalism. They’re scared of being ostracized so their fat salaries make them submissive sellouts.
