Righteous, factual rant, which is the very best kind. For me, supporting the genocidal Israeli ethnic cleansing campaign, for any reason, is more than a red line.

It's a black pit of the worst kind of evil, which means Trump/Vance will not get my vote any more than a Democrat would. When I voted for Vance for Senate, it was for one reason and one reason only--he opposed the Ukraine War whereas the Corruptocrat he was running against was all for it. But this was in 2022, well before the Gaza Genocide geared up. I didn't even think about Israel/Palestine then.

So I can't vote for Trump & Vance, either, which is OK because I feel no compulsion to vote for candidates I had no say in selecting anyway.

You echo my view, Brother. I don't care if Biden had gotten us single payer health care (which he always opposed) I still wouldn't vote for him. Enabling, arming, funding and intimidating others to enable a genocide is the worst of crimes. Hell, Hitler brought a lot of economic relief and the Autobahn to Germany. None of that excused his genocide against the Jews and other groups.

I won't vote to re-elect Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) because of her support for the genocide and all the AIPAC money she scarfs up. I probably won't vote in any race higher than country level.

Yup! More truth to contemplate. [ The vast majority of theft, extortion, intimidation, harassment, assault, and even murder - in other words, the vast majority of man's inhumanity to man - comes not from the greed, hatred and intolerance that lurks in our hearts. Rather, it comes from one pernicious and almost universal assumption, one unquestioned belief, one irrational, self-contradictory superstition: the belief in "authority".]

"The detritus of Biden’s tawdry career is — like shrapnel scattered through a Gaza refugee tent camp — too numerous to count."

This sentence sums up Genocide Joe to a T. Funny how the filk song doesn't mention Biden's biggest tawdriness of all time--his enthusiastic aiding and abetting the genocide of Gaza.

Thanks. That song is a few years old, I believe.

Hi Mark

Could it be that ByeDone became such a “tough” warmonger because his middle name is “Robinette” and he had to overcome that affliction?

You know, kind of like Johnny Cash growing up mean and nasty because his father named him “Sue”….😉

You may be onto something. Biden has always had a bloviated, swaggering, self-important buffoonish personality. Imagine, hundreds of thousands dead in Ukraine and Gaza and West Bank because he was curse with a wussy middle name.

I've always thought the cringiest thing he says is: "I promise, as a Biden...blah, blah, blah."

Any family that would produce Biden, his corrupt brother and son is no family to pin your legitimacy to.

I fell out with Owen Jones over his shifty position on Jeremy Corbyn before he lost. I stopped listening to him totally after that. He has redeemed himself a little with this post on the horror of Genocide Joe.

I have to say this: I think the mocking and snide poking regarding Biden's DEMENTIA is uncalled for, as it mocks and snidely pokes ALL people afflicted with Dementia, and that includes a lot of people I have cared for, and my own parents, many of whom are alert enough to KNOW they're being treated like babies... It's a terrible thing to know you have it... And it's not the same for everyone, nor does it follow any absolute time line or anything else. It's just a cruel sickness.

Dementia has a broad symptomology, and sometimes is very mild for years and years. People who suffer from this malady (most likely poisoned by this same genocidal bunch that threaten us all) have varied effects, varied seriousness, sometimes depending what time of day it is; they can go in and out of it; they can be quite nutty one minute and the next as astute and profound as anyone else.

SO. It's not right to mock the afflicted simply for being afflicted. That said, I think it's understandable, but I think if we're going to mock Joe Biden, let's mock him for being a shit. He's been a shit his entire public life.

Now. THIS.

It's long -- a book being read, but you can just download the book in PDF format. But

WOW!!!!!!! Everyone should see or hear this material. EVERYONE. It is exactly what we need, right the hell NOW...

I hear, and as a 72 year-old retired psychotherapist even agree with much of what you are saying. The difference with Biden is that until the moment he leaves office he is an ACTIVE threat to the nation -- and given the nuclear arsenal -- all of humanity. He should be out of office now, today.

Whoever is making the decisions flushing the nation down the toilet is unelected, unknown and unaccountable. They are using his dementia to their use and advantage. It needs to be called out because we are all under threat from this ongoing, collapsing evil circus. Because his dementia is an active threat it is a legitimate focus of comment, including derision.

At some point Biden and those around him had to know things were slipping and given the immense responsibilities and consequences of his position he should have sought honest professional evaluation and guidance and stepped the hell away. But he chose not to. He failed the nation. By doing so he chose to put my family, community , nation and planet at direct risk.

If he had owned a small hardware store he would deserve compassion. But he is a lifelong money and power-grubbing sociopath who has held onto power to feed his ego. So fuck demented Joe and I'm happy to see him diapered up and wandering off, but he should be gone TODAY!

I have as much sympathy for him as he has shown for us.

Missing my point! And I am not trying to single you out!! We are encouraged to be mean and nasty, it's the New Black... It's what the Mean & Nasties that are behind this whole globalist eugenics and tyranny just LOVE... Mean. And Nasty.

And I'm not saying he deserves sympathy (I don't feel much of that for the guy, he's a scumbag in my view), that's beyond the scope of my comment. I'm saying making fun of him BECAUSE of that, and just that, is unfair to the many, many unfortunate people who also suffer from that disease.

What we should be doing is getting rid of him, yes, in part because he has dementia, but also because HE WAS NEVER FIT TO BE IN OFFICE, in my opinion. But then, I don't support government AT ALL. lol

What I was trying to point out above is that mocking his affliction mocks a LOT of good people. And we can point out his affliction without mocking everybody who suffers from that affliction. I guess I'm asking too much. I think of all the folks who I've known and do know now, like my own parents, who are GOOD PEOPLE. It's just kind of ugly. Don't we have enough UGLY?

Yeah, FUCK JOE, but FUCK JOE regardless of dementia or not. This ain't junior high school, after all. Anyway, just trying to remember that "better nature" thing.
