Hi Mark

How about a sarcastic sign reading “I support Kamala for Genocide!”…. Featuring a skull, or a pile of bones.

Or would SCAMALA supporters take it literally?

🤔

DAMN, Gypsy, that is a GOOD one!!!

I would have swiped that in an instant. Wish there was another rally to picket. If any opportunity arises I'll make the sign and post it.

It is SO frustrating in that there is no other political activity going on anywhere near me.

Maybe I'll do it as a cartoon for election eve or election day.

I heard a new one for "Holocaust Harris": "Kamalacaust" That might look good on a sign.

Oh, dang, that's a good one. Too bad we aren't all in the same community plotting, planning and acting together. I have no allies in my community.

Thanks for your words and this collection of suggestions. I agree with you -- the real chaos is yet to come.

Maybe it’s apathy or lost hope but no demonstrations and very few signs going for presidential candidates. Local candidates there are many signs. The dollar store parking lot is full with customers hoping for lower prices. Unbridled of guilt, never realizing how close to Palestine

They are.

Stephen, I agree. The pro-Harris weekly rally has been literally the only political activity in my area. I think after the disappointment and betrayals of Obama, Sanders and the wholesale support of genocide and the openly rigged Democratic Party nominating process and addle-brained Biden proving the president doesn't "run" the country, most people are drained and -- understandably -- focused on survival. But, I do believe things are about to heat up.

Or maybe not and it all dries up like roadkill on the asphalt in the middle of a hot summer day.

Crows eat the eyes and maggots swirl but that does not inhibit the dims awakening of antifa and projecting blame on white nationalists. This time around the summer of love will not be episode two but a resounding defeat, rebuttal for the past four years. Israel is marking time and has exposed itself as the ultimate parasite that plays the host and victim at the same time. America has to come home and heal itself. Yes things will heat up but as fire cauterizes a wound or lancing a boil brings relief. The next year will be a pivotal one, where American politicians start working for the people or else.

Agreed. Based upon the past couple decades, I fear the odds are in favor of "or else".

Great work with the people … the Americans who ARE nice but so ignorant and so naive. So was, am, I. We all need to read more and ask more questions and not be afraid to stand up for what is morally correct. Red or Blue or Chartreuse can all agree this genocide and the war in Ukraine (as influenced by greedy USA politicians) is wrong. Morally wrong. Where is all this headed … I fear not a good warm fuzzy place.

Excellent work Mark. Thank you.

“I appreciate it,” I explained. “Because when you try to block my message by waving your sign in front of mine, you actually draw attention to mine. People are curious, ‘what truth is that guy saying that woman is trying to keep me from seeing’.”

You got them! You're showing them the Dems their hypocrisy in real time, which is no mean feat. Added bonus is the "Streisand Effect" that attracts more people to look at your sign and what it actually says. Double score!

Your protest signs are fantastic. We're in need of some new ones in our group of pro-Palestine protesters, so I might have to take you up on some of your designs. Keep up the good work and wake up more of those "banal and evil" gray-hairs!

Regarding carrying the Leatherman or other bladed tools, just take care in case you're accused of carrying an offensive weapon. That's maybe less of an issue in the US where guns are everywhere, but here in my local city in the UK a student (brown, Muslim, female) was charged by police for having a craft knive to cut string for hanging up banners. Yep, just cracking down on knife-crime: not at all racist or Islamophobic...

Thanks. You are absolutely correct and I may be substituting some type of small pliers. In a couple large protests I intentionally left the Leatherman in the car for that very reason.
