Thanks. Inspired by the White House, Congress, State and War departments and 100 years of Zionist racism and fascism. Imagine the parents and grandparents of that little girl ... if they are alive. God, this government is so disgusting.

Just one of the many photos, one of the few deaths we have gotten to see at this distance, this picture, this child, that haunts me.

It's why both parties are working so hard to shut down TikTok. They can't agree on anything else but when it comes to shutting down freedom of information, that they can agree on.

This is so heart-breaking and true. I constantly have my 6yo and 3yo grandchildren in my mind as I see these images and think about these children. Today my grandchildren are playing with friends, have a safe house, are eating easter chocolate. But the idea that it couldn't happen in the UK or France or the US is BS -- it could happen to anyone who is in the way of the capitalist colonialist machine and it's beyond sick. There are no words for what is being done in our names with our tax money yet we desperately need the right words and rigIt actions to make it stop.

It's not my personal faith tradition (though it's the one I studied and dwelled in for decades) but if Easter is about anything then surely the value of every life, the sacredness of life, the rising up of life and of resistance.

Yes, as a grandparent, that photo is gut wrenching. And you are absolutely right about how the same thing could come to all of our doorsteps. In their final stages of collapse, all empires bring home the weapons, tactics and mercenaries they have used abroad to silence and smother the inevitable uprisings of the citizens who have been exploited and impoverished by the cost of empire. Americans need to wake up to this fact soon. Unfortunately, history shows most slumber until it is too late.

I saw a video of a garage full of robotic police dogs -- probably about 50 -- doing push-ups in absolute unison. We will see these things on patrol in many of our neighborhoods and when the next 'stay-at-home' order comes it will be enforced.

The capitalists will make Gazas around the world, here and abroad.

As Jesus did on Easter Sunday, he is patiently waiting for us to rise up also..

Not to worry, he does have our backs.

I was a stringer in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. Laos, a tiny neutral country was heavily bombed. 4 billion bombs! (presumably counting cluster munitions). The targets were mostly villages and the dead -- women and children. At least 60,000 people died -- more likely twice that number. 20,000 more died after the war from unexploded ordinance. In Vientiane where I was on my way to Phnom Phen --a trip I luckily could not make--there were gangs of children everywhere -- orphans --90% missing body parts. Yet, the Lao were the kindest, nicest people I ever met.

Does a country whose culture condones genocidal violence deserve to exist? I think not.

Israel has no intrinsic right to exist.

Nor for that matter does the US – or Canada – or the UK.

I like your use of the word "gaze". Problem is that Americans look – but they don't see. What a truly see you must also feel.

Thanks for the comments. It really is mind and soul-bending to see the images from Gaza in all their horrific detail and get -- to deeply understand -- this is what the empire has been doing for hundreds of years. We "knew" things were bad, but seeing the images we get now make it real. It is why they have to shut down TikTok and both parties in the US are working hard to do just that ... that can't let us see just how depraved the machine they have created is.

The big thing people need to understand is that they will have no hesitancy turning the same weapons, tactics and brutality on us, when the time comes. That is the truth of all collapsing, corrupt and decrepit empires that have outlived their usefulness.

Everything's on schedule according to the Bible Timeline.

ARMAGEDDON was derived from Har Mediggo in Roman occupied Palestine some 2000 years ago.

Israel as a kingdom, by the Will of God, disappeared from among the Nations some 720 years before that when Christ Jesus walked the land, until it was recreated FROM THE BIBLE in 1948.

Har Mediggo/ARMAGEDDON is still a physical place but now located in Israeli OCCUPIED PALESTINE.

People may not know the Bible History, but WE CAN SEE THE ILLEGAL OCCUPATION of Palestine by Israel is still the most divisive issue in this World since that TIME so long ago.

All I have left is not paying my taxes this year, which is my intent. My paltry dollars missing dollars won’t stop the killing but I’m not going to be involved anymore. How many people HAVE I killed in my years of paying taxes? My Uncle’s Vick, Bill and Art did not fight in WWll to for this. I’m lucky to be an American but I’m ashamed. I’ve been ashamed a long time now. I’m ashamed of our two presidential candidates … are these two dullards the best of the best of America? I COULD do a better job. So could you and we didn’t even have TV show. But, you see, we don’t have tons of money and we still have our souls. Do you know how to run a country … do you know why I say … without ego… that I could run a country? Because We The People are the country. A true president hires dozens and dozens of experts … not rich sycophants… but experts and they offer insight and they listen to The People. But those days are long gone. Now we don’t know who truly runs the country… except we actually do… the military industrial complex …. Not just the pentagon. The Complex. That little girl didn’t stand a chance. But don’t worry … we will all be laying, burned to a crisp, in the rubble soon. And the filthy rich in their caverns of safety will not care one iota. And evil will reign for centuries. Happy Easter. Jesus has abandoned us.

Great article & facts Mark! For meaningful & consequential changes, the lobby MUST be stopped, outnumbered & out-wealthed. They are the drivers. The multi-billionaire Zionists. We are sending & continuing to send bombs & ammunitions as we speak. Who can stop them? Only & only folks with more money. The politicians will be forced to immediately reverse course if they get more funds from an opposing anti-zionist entity. Funds are all that matter. Nothing else. Look at the evidence! We are STILL sending weapons & money to Israel. If the humanity gets awakened within the like-minded, ultra-powerful & ultra-wealthy anti-zionists of the world, things can change for the better. If these powerful teams come forward, nothing can stop them. There will be immense global support from humanity. Evil can & will be defeated & punished. Otherwise we will all be merely talking about it. Helpless & powerless like the dying Gazans. GOD help us!

Thanks. I don't have faith or trust in any of the wealthy. To have the degree of wealth it would take to outspend the Zionist lobby one would have to sell their soul to a different version of the devil. The only change that will matter will be from the bottom up. If workers in this country came together for general strikes combined with targeted consumer boycotts and community-based mutual aid, the whole machine could be brought to a grinding halt. The wealthy and the corporations know that so that is why they sow division and doubt, racial and religious divide. Can humanity come together in a timeframe that will outpace AI and cabals like the WEO? I hope so, it is our only hope.

Sometimes I just can’t get out the words I

feel so deeply inside , but I feel the hatred and disgust I have for this capitalist Scumpire. Your so on point, Americans look but don’t see. The collective propaganda slaves which we call America have been so pitifully mind washed for the 19th and 20 th centuries, that they are deeply indifferent to the point of callousness when exposed to what’s going

On all around us. The carrot or the stick metaphor works perfectly here. The distractive features of the in your face materialist culture soak up most of our free time when not working or sleeping . The stream of endless lies fed to us from the origins of this country may be coming to an end from the horrific and ghastly truth of the Gaza genocide. Breaking out of this artificial matrix requires civil rebellion and

demands for “regime “ change. Hope tipping point comes soon!

Senator, if you have the courage of your convictions about Biden's bomb deliveries to Israel, the right thing to do to follow through would be for you to leave the Democratic Party and sit as an Independent. Shake things up

That was in response to a person who said "we" are all responsible for the horrors of the war in Israel.

Expand full comment
Mark Taylor's avatar

Perhaps that was me. As citizens and taxpayers, I do believe we all share responsibility for what is happening in Gaza. Even though I attended a big protest march/rally in Madison, Wisconsin on Dec. 9 , call my congressional hacks almost daily, and do my Substack work, making everything available for others to use to broaden the opposition, I share responsibility. I pay taxes used to send weapons and funding to Israel.

While "our" government -- on most issues these days -- does not represent us, as citizens we do carry responsibility. As much as any of us do -- including myself -- we could do more. Should do more. Just as in Nazi Germany the Germans bore responsibility, so too in this fascist country. Actively or passively, we have all contributed to the point this nation is at.
