Except, of course, they don't give a crap about what we think or need. The government of the United States is most obviously NOT about the people. Or at least the people who don't count their trillions on Wall Street or Tel Aviv.

Our elected "representatives" have nothing but absolute contempt for us, and label us "domestic terrorists" if we express concerns or disagree with the American requirement to enthusiastically gobble-felch Israel no matter what.

When I was in my early 20’s, we believed our politicians were corrupt and in the pockets of large donors. We despaired over the Vietnam disaster, and believed the war was fought for the industrial complex that was hugely profiting from the blood of others.

Yup, the more things change….

A good first step might be to end the power of the Lobbies, especially the Zionist lobby which appears to have almost every politician in the West by the throat. The spectacle of leaders desperately averting their gaze from a Genocide they could stop will not impress most voters.

Unfortunately, those who benefit from an evil and corrupt system will never reform the system. I'm not sure where the reform will have to come from, but it won't be from inside the government crack house. I have let go of any hope or expectation that the political system will reform itself. It will have to come from elsewhere.
