With Gaza, we are witnessing the depths and brutal ugliness to which this corporate fascist state will go.

When I mentioned to a friend I would not be voting for “Genocide” Joe Biden in 2024, and for the first time probably would not vote for president, he was aghast. My friend agreed that Biden is a brain-addled, horrible, despicable corporate war criminal, but that — really — we have no choice: “We have to stop Trump!”
I asked him to do a little thought experiment and pretend it was the fall of 2020 and I had just returned from a weekend of time travel to 2023 and wanted him to know the winner of the election would be responsible for the following future events:
1. Deliberate sabotage of a peace agreement that would directly lead to a horrific war we would lose in Central Europe and result in death for over 800,000 young men, millions displaced, whole cities laid waste, a national economy and infrastructure destroyed and threat of a wider war in Europe.
2. The largest single act of eco-terrorism in the world, resulting in crippling energy costs across Europe and the beginning of deindustrialization of Germany, our most important European ally and business partner.
3. Full-on US participation in funding, arming and diplomatic cover of a massive fascist religious genocide where two-thirds of the recovered dead would be women, children and infants, and the very real threat of throwing the entire Middle East into war while leaving us virtually alone diplomatically.
I said to my friend, "You would have said, OMG, that's why we need to stop Trump. Go For Joe!!!!"
He reluctantly agreed.
Here's the brutal truth: when it comes to more wealth for corporations, draining the nation off to the military industrial complex, war, genocidal support of a thuggish fascist politico/religious cult and destruction of the environment all life depends upon, there is NO difference between the two parties.
None. It's just one big corporate party: The Republocrats.
Peeling away the last shreds
As for Biden, he is a self-proclaimed Zionist, which means he has loyalties outside the US , which should be the focus of any impeachment hearings. The one bit of inadvertent good Biden has tripped over with the US/Israeli genocide is to have peeled away the last shreds of the smirking mask of the corporate fascist state we suffer under. We now see the full extent and ugliness to which this fascist state will go to dominate others and -- when the time comes -- ourselves. A reality we are already seeing with the accelerating censorship of any speech deemed “pro-Palestinian” or an increasingly elastic definition of “antisemitic”.
The American political process is dead.
Republicans are speeding us into a wall of fascist totalitarianism at 125 mph.
The Democrats are doing so at 85 mph.
The destination is the same.
Time for people to resist.
But, I fear they won't.
Time is short.
Add censorship to the mix and the Dems are speeding past the Republicans.
