(Editor’s Update: As of Friday morning the 16th, Harris has been speaking of more policy proposals but nothing has been updated to her campaign website. She has withdrawn her previous support of Medicare For All and banning oil fracking, so her corporate backers must be happy. — MT)

As in any political campaign, there’s a lot of rolling show and blow in the Harris/Walz campaign. Bombast and BS are the lubricant of any political campaign. One needs to look and listen closely to grab the revealing splinters of truth of who a candidate really is and whose interests they represent.

Just such a moment happened at the recent Detroit rally where Harris arrogantly scolded chanting protesters of the US/Israel Gaza genocide. Many of those Muslim-American protesters have lost family members to Israeli-wielded US munitions. Some have lost dozens of extended family to the bloody US/Israeli campaign of brutal war crimes.

But it was more than the words that revealed Harris for the person she is. As is often true with evil, it is revealed in the silence and the body language. Take a few minutes and watch the Sabby Sabs interview below. “I said man that reminds me of something that Hillary Clinton would say; that sounds like something that Hillary Clinton would say. The demeaning tone, talking down to people and then on top of that holding the threat of Donald Trump as president over the protesters head who are asking for an end to a genocide.

“How low can you go?

“So this is Kamala Harris using her experience as a cop to hold something over your head. She sounds exactly like how a cop would speak. Reminded me of Hillary Clinton and this is why I'mma tell you — keep it real — this is why I said that Kamala Harris has a similar problem that Hillary Clinton has and that's not that they're women, it's that they're not genuine and you can see it in the way that they speak to people. They both pander to whatever group they’re trying to recruit. You don't hold the threat of your opposition over the head of people.”

As Sabby notes, these young protesters were not there demonstrating for some issue like a raise in minimum wage or student debt relief. They were there protesting genocide; the systematic brutal state extermination of a people, young and old alike. They were protesting the bombing of school refugee camps, targeted sniper killing and crippling of young children, a rising wave of disease — including polio — because of destroyed water purification and waste management facilities. They were protesting industrial scale state murder funded and facilitated by the US.

They were — properly challenging — the administration Harris has been a member of and represents. They were on the right side of history and morality. Study Harris’s face while the mob wildly cheers as the protesters are escorted out of the rally. The brutal truth of who she is is chiseled on her face.

Then just a few days after the Detroit event, this past Friday, we have this news out of Gaza:

“Just hours after the Biden administration Friday announced approval of $3.5 billion in military funds for Israel and shipments for new weaponry, an Israeli bombing of a school-turned-shelter in Gaza has killed 100 people or more, including scores of civilian men, women, and children in what was described as a "bloody massacre" that struck during morning prayers, leaving body parts scattered "in pieces" and healthcare workers overwhelmed with the dead and wounded.”

In several recent responses to protesters, Harris disingenuously claims she and Biden are working hard “around the clock” to get a ceasefire. But Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Zionist lobby controlling the White House, both parties and both campaigns has made it clear: there will be no ceasefire and you will keep the weapons and money flowing. In response, the wilty Biden/Harris administration dutifully ships off more money, more weapons and more munitions for the Israelis to drop on innocents. The flow on death could be cut off with a phone call. A call that will never come from Biden, Harris or Donald Trump.

And to be clear, Harris campaign partner Tim Walz — who in some ways I admire — is no better when it comes to the genocide. (See the chummy photo below.)
