All wars swirl in hurricanes of official fear, propaganda, rumor and lies. The ease, ubiquity and rapid spread of social media posts accelerates the process and is complicating public perception of the escalating crisis in Israel and Gaza. 

Breaking Points had a good segment today (10/10) warning about the issue. Turns out I fell for two of the examples they cite. Their caution about not glomming on too quickly to media posts that reinforce your opinion is especially good advice for us all at all times.
