LOOK WHAT'S ON YOUR PLATE CARTOON! Other Than Local Races, Voting Is A Waste Of Time, Effort & Hope
It's not a democracy folks, it's an oligarchic kakistocracy ... government by the dumbest and least qualified, for the sole benefit of corporations and the uber wealthy. So, what to do?

People need to grasp that we do not have a democracy or even a democratic republic. We are ruled by an oligarchy of the wealthy and governed — as we see daily in DC — by a kakistocracy of the dimmest, dumbest and most venal.

As election after election shows, voting is a waste. Beyond the local level, the election system in this country is a fraud; a waste of time, effort, money and most of all hope in a better, fairer, more just nation. As the presidencies of both ‘Cat Turd’ Biden and ‘Dog Turd’ Trump have shown, the people do not control the government. Promise after promise withers away as more Americans suffer without healthcare, affordable housing, livable wages or anything resembling the American Dream that is rapidly evaporating in the heat of corporate looting. You and your kids and parents mean nothing in this corporate dystopia.
We suffer under a mockery of democracy run by one big corporate party, folks: the Republocrats.
Wall Street and the military/industrial/intel and now computer tech/AI complex are running the show. Over and over, the evidence is clear: 67% of Americans, for example, want a ceasefire in the US/Israel Gaza genocide. Ain’t gonna happen. Self-declared staunch Zionist ‘Genocide’ Joe Biden is the largest lifetime recipient of Zionist campaign contributions and both parties in congress pocket their plump donations from the Zionist lobby and tell us all to go pound sand while more Palestinian children have their limbs shredded off them by a never-ending flood of American-made bombs, missiles and artillery shells, with our troops soon to be on the ground as bait.
Consistently, around 70% of Americans want single-payer, Medicare for All, yet nothing happens as the American Medical/Big Pharma Industrial Complex (never call it healthcare) rake in ever more billions in undeserved profits as millions go without treatment and die for lack of healthcare in a system that ranks most expensive and least effective among peer nations.
People need to grasp that we do not have a democracy or even a democratic republic. We are ruled by an oligarchy of the wealthy and governed — as we see daily in DC — by a kakistocracy of the dimmest, dumbest and most venal.
The essential first step of reform is to see the problem clearly.
Keep them squabbling
In a nation — this nation — where three malignant, sociopathic men own more wealth than the bottom 50% of the nation from whom they steal their money, there can be no pretense of a supposed ‘democratic republic’. Please, any happy talk otherwise is a perverse joke.
Our only hope is for people to step outside the rigged Kabuki theater of our empty government of war crimes and criminality to organize; to come together, build coalitions. To reach across the false, cynically manufactured right/left divides of race and wokeism, urban vs. rural, right vs left and male vs female that does nothing more than leave the wealth of the nation for the wealthy to suck up and use against us.
It’s about class, people.
Always has been.
Always will be.
All else is distraction.
If not the vote, then what?
It was entertaining to see the Democratic National Committee drones piddle their pantaloons over the successful campaign to vote ‘uncommitted’ in the recent Michigan primary; a kind of non-vote. It undermined their dreamy illusion of legitimacy. While numbers fluctuate, 30-40% of eligible voters regularly choose not to vote. Imagine if it were 60% … 75% … 80%. Any illusion of legitimacy by this illegitimate government would evaporate in the steam of citizen disgust.
Imagine the effect if instead of putting their energy, time, money and hope into electing Tweedle Dum or Tweedle Dee, people organized unions, supported general strikes, pushed targeted boycotts, mutual community aid and sit-ins. Imagine if millions refused to participate in the rigged game of American politics and economy. That’s what happened in the 1930s and led to the reforms of FDR, who realized the whole system was on the brink of being overthrown.
If there is any chance to get things on track it will be through direct action, not voting. The system needs to be put over a barrel and brought to a grinding halt. Imagine if millions of workers refused to go to work or did sit-down strikes for a day. Three days. A week. And you thought the democrats freaked over the Michigan primary…
There’s a reason the police are being armed up like combat soldiers and local law enforcement across the nation are now reinforced with military hardware and war vehicles. Don’t believe me?
“Wisconsin law enforcement agencies have more than $45 million worth of surplus military equipment in their possession through a Department of Defense program at a time when some police have come under criticism for "militant" responses to protests.
“That includes $28.7 million worth of mine-resistant armored vehicles provided to 39 law enforcement agencies across Wisconsin through the so-called 1033 program, all at little to no cost to the departments.” — Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
Cop City protesters in Georgia are being prosecuted under charges of domestic terrorism. In all failed empires, the weapons of colonization are eventually brought home to crush the people who inevitably rise up against the crimes and tyranny of domestic empire.
The time for direct action will come. But — knowing Americans — not until we have plunged into full-on fascism will there finally be a reaction of direct action to the national crime state beyond silly voting. Will it be too late. We’ll see.
To vote or not vote is an individual decision and I respect whatever people decide to do. I just know that for myself, when it comes to voting beyond local races, I’m not interested in playing their pointless game. Plus, I refuse to vote for supporters of genocide, which means in congressional races on up, there is no candidate to vote for.
A Citizen Lesson From History…
“The question is: how do you make the power elite frightened of you? Who was the last liberal president we had? It was Richard Nixon–not because he was a liberal, but because he was frightened of movements.
“And there’s a scene–I think it’s in Kissinger’s memoirs, 1971, huge antiwar demonstration surrounding the White House, and Nixon has put empty buses, city buses end-to-end as a kind of barricade, and he’s standing at the window wringing his hands, going, ‘Henry, they’re going to break through the barricades and get us.’
“And that’s just where you want power, people in power to be.” — Chris Hedges
WAKE UP, DEMS! House Dems Donate To Corporate Front Group Sabotaging Their Agenda
House Democratic leadership groups have given more than a million dollars to the PhRMA-funded Center Forward, which has worked to undermine the Biden administration on drug pricing reforms and more.

SLUDGE (3/14/24)
The House Democratic leadership's super PAC and its “dark money” affiliate have donated more than $1.1 million to a lobbyist-run centrist group that has worked to undermine the Biden administration's agenda on lowering drug prices, regulating the finance industry, and more.
The donations were made to Center Forward, a dark money think tank that provides “centrist allies” with research and talking points, as well as to its super PAC that supports conservative Democrats in primary contests.
The Democratic super PAC behemoth, the House Majority PAC (HMP), contributed $547,000 to Center Forward’s super PAC in the six weeks ahead of the 2022 midterms, according to Federal Election Commission records. Also in 2022, the party’s non-donor disclosing nonprofit arm, House Majority Forward (HMF), made a $600,000 “general contribution” to Center Forward, according to its tax return. The amount was an increase on the $300,000 that HMF gave to Center Forward in 2020, its only other known donation to the organization.
At the time of the donations, HMP’s president was Alixandria Lapp, a former lobbyist for Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), Pfizer, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and others. The PAC’s new president as of January 2023 is Mike Smith, a former Nancy Pelosi fundraiser who is a principal and director with the lobbying firm Cornerstone Government Affairs. Because of campaign finance laws, the group is formally separate from any elected officials, but it is tightly aligned with the House Democratic leader, now Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffires (D-N.Y.), who blessed Smith to be its leader. …

The Number One Word To Use In Any Political Discussion In The United States
Kakistocracy: government run by the worst, least qualified, or most unscrupulous citizens. The word was coined as early as the seventeenth century. The word is derived from two Greek words, kakistos (κάκιστος; worst) and kratos (κράτος; rule), with a literal meaning of government by the worst people.

This may seem a non-sequitur but what I have decide is this… I will not be paying my taxes this year. We will then see ‘… because justice matters.’ How long before the poor old man living above the garage is fined or in jail versus all these other rich bastards running the country. I’ll let you know how it turns out because ‘… there is no justice for the common man or the poor.’ Oh, BTW Spectrum is the ONLY wifi service in my city. For ten years I paid my 74 dollars a month to get the damn service. Now that I’m on SS the 74 bucks is too much. Spectrum is cutting me off April 1st because, ‘ …. greed matters and people don’t.’ I wonder how I’ll be in touch with doctors, family, friends, other bill pays, news? I don’t matter I guess.
Glen Kirchner (sp?) opens every segment with, ‘… because justice matters.’ I’m 73. I used to believe that. ‘Naive people are the most dangerous people,’ -Joseph Campbell. There is no justice. And I’m angry. I’m sad. And worst of all feeling betrayed.
