With Biden out and Kamala Harris in, many were hopeful this could mean an end to US support for Israel’s genocide in Gaza. But “this is is deeply wishful thinking,” says Briahna Joy Gray, host of the Bad Faith podcast. “Kamala is the same policy in a different package.”

As the Democratic party embraces increasingly anti-labor policies and aligns with AIPAC and other right-wing interest groups, they have become virtually indistinguishable from the Republicans — save for their cynical use of identity politics. Gray explains why this is a losing strategy [and where instead our efforts should be focused].

On Monday (7/29) Chris Hedges hosted an hour-long podcast overview of the gritty realities of the 2024 election and machinations of the Democrats.

At the 47-minute mark on the video, Hedges clearly lays out the one way — the solitary path — we can flush corporate control out of our government to restore some level of citizen control and benefit to our government. History lays out the path and Hedges points the way.
