Cartoonish rich liberal white womens' woke version of working class men is as hilariously cringe and effective as a Kamala Harris interview. As usual, Democrats working hard ... for Republicans.
When you don't have any meaningful policy positions, when you are a dumb empty gas bag, full of ego, opportunism and ambition, that's when you run idiotic adds like "I am a man". Not that Trump is any better; waiting for his team's "I am a woman" counter-add to win females that got turned off by his "grab them by the pu$$y" remarks. It's a great time to write satire and be a comedian, unless you live in Gaza, Lebanon, Ukraine, Syria, Iran, Florida, etc. Never seen such dystopian chaos. Thanks for the entertainment.
$kamala went on The View and said she couldn't think of anything she would have done differently from what Biden did. So she is both the incumbent AND the Change Candidate of Joy? It makes no sense.
$kamala's just an empty vessel ready and willing to be filled with narratives that serve her kleptocratic masters, and more voters see that every time she opens her mouth.
And thanks for including my article. It's much appreciated.
And since she wouldn't have done anything differently, she completely owns and represents the Ukraine War, the Nord Stream terrorist attack and the ongoing, grinding, obscene genocide. God, she is repulsive.
Glad to include your contribution. I had missed the story.
My first viewing of ‘The Man Ad’ I assumed it was SNL. My second viewing I moved to, ‘Wow, the GOP now has their own twisted version of The Lincoln Project. Then, came the realization that this was intended to be taken seriously. Now I’m not about hiring perfect people to say perfect things (spin) but these guys? The language? Who says ‘Eats engines for lunch (which then creates the image of giant man in tiny cap shitting said engine the next day). The skinny dude talking about full throating Kamala or some thing? The skinny Black dude unable to get off the weight bench hahaha. I mean, come on!! If this is what Kamala believes is going to draw males to understanding her and or agreeing with her … as buffoon Trump would say, ‘Wow. Kamala. Beautiful. Horrible. Retarded. I won. Cat. Wow’
Mark, thanks for posting this, it was fascinating. The videos included were really interesting to watch. As a non-American (I’m watching from Britain), I was very pleasantly surprised by the Jimmy Doré show except. I loved that Obama was excoriated for being completely out of touch with the black community that he likes to denigrate, except where it is advantageous for him to remember his African heritage. In Britain, he’d be called a coconut - which is as offensive as it sounds. But, I liked that Dore and Co. criticised his subservience to big business rather than remembering that he should attend to the concerns of those who voted for him. I was also pleased to see your profoundly undemocratic Electoral College system criticised. Jimmy Dore and friends are awake and educated, which is lovely for me to see as a foreigner. I loved that they reminded us that Hillary Clinton won the popular vote “…even though she was repulsive!” but not the election.
Frank Luntz was also fascinating to watch - he always is. I can see why he’s saying that this election is far too close to call and that Trump has capitalised on the anger that many Americans feel. It was also interesting to hear Frank L. say that Harris will pick up a lot of votes because she’s not Trump. In that sense, she is very like Keir Starmer here in Britain. Starmer achieved a massive majority in our election simply because he wasn’t a Conservative. It’s no surprise to the many of us who were disgusted with Starmer anyway that his personal ratings have tanked so soon. People here voted for a change which was desperately needed and Starmer just gives us more of what we’ve had to put up with for the previous 14 years.
My red line was his self declared ‘unqualified Zionism’: for me, supporting a genocide makes a politician unelectable by any standards of decency and humanity. I think that Harris is in exactly the same position. Even though Frank Luntz says, very reasonably, that your election is too close to call, not least because Americans are angry , and Trump has captured the angry vote, I think that Harris will just scrape through because she’s not Trump. However, just like Starmer here in Britain, Harris will just continue doing what your establishment, i.e. the Military Industrial complex, wants. As that includes supporting the genocide in Palestine, that’s extremely offensive.
Frank Luntz gave some great suggestions for Harris to connect with the American electorate. Sadly, I don’t think that she’ll be able to run with those because she is incapable of engaging sincerely. She just an establishment apparatchik, so Americans won’t get the changes that really are needed. There will just be more of the same. In that sense, she’s exactly the same as Starmer. (Apologies if I’m repeating myself.)
The rest of the world is anxiously watching your election. Something that hasn’t been mentioned is the other candidates, like Jill Stein and Cornel West. Who’s to say that a complete surprise won’t happen in November? Anyway, thanks gain for posting.
Thanks for such a thoughtful reply, Jacqueline. Yes, the parallels between Starmer and Harris and Democrats and Labour is -- sadly -- spot on. We no longer have political parties as we do cults. If Harris squeaks through it will be (corrupt) business as usual and the quality of life in the US will continue to spiral downward. The two parties are just corporate psy-ops with no real difference. We have a military corporate uniparty.
The Greens have no chance of winning, but it is where I will put my vote. If Greens can get 5% of the vote -- a big stretch -- they can access some federal funding. The party is historically disorganized. For example, several weeks ago I had a phone conversation with the 'head' of my state Green Party to volunteer to help with messaging, press releases etc and to provide cartoons and other artwork and to attend a statewide meeting. I sent him samples of what I could make available. He said he'd call the next day and didn't. I called him. He apologized and asked if he could call me the next day. I said sure. He didn't. I sent an email asking when we could talk. No reply. That is standard when I have tried to work with and left group. They couldn't organize their way out of a shoe box.
In the American left there is no understanding of the concept of reciprocity -- the central dynamic of politics. Over the past 80 years the CIA and other intel and police agencies have done such a good job of infiltrating left wing groups they have successfully fractured any sense of group tradition. In this election, Jill Stein has spoken of how Democratic party operatives have been infiltrating state and local Green Party groups, causing dissension.
The most recent comments are three years old. Some go back ten. The guy who said he was head of the party isn't even listed on the web page. Was he a Dem party plant?
I tried working with the Democratic Socialists of America -- who all love to call each other "comrade" but can't be honest with each other and is nothing more than a way for the Democrats to herd the lefties into voting for the Democrats.
The Peoples Party -- where Cornel West began his campaign -- has collapsed and evaporated. I tried working with them for a year ... absolute mess.
I'm afraid things will have to get -- will get -- worse before there is any chance of things getting better in the US. But there may also not be a way back from worse.
You gotta really consider at this point that the Dems are trying to lose on purpose AND set the clock back on civil rights and women's rights a few dozen decades to boot! No group can be that crass and stupid, but apparently the Harris crew is!
I know, that is why Trump has such a warm, fuzzy spot for them in the oozing abscess where his heart should be. He couldn't have asked for a better ally. If you get a chance, check out the Frank Luntz interview at the bottom of the post. He is a very interesting guy. Real master of political campaign messaging and framing.
Imagine the roomful of HIGHLY paid campaign and advertising consultants sitting around a big conference table in a Madison Avenue ad agency and thinking that was actually something effective. Such arrogant idiots.

Tragedy and comedy in a bloody mixing bowl.

I love Sabby. In the language of my generation, she rocks.

We are in deep shit
Living in America (as a Kamala-man), ooooh yeah! 🤦🏼
Just be sure to get the right size cowboy hat.
And a watering can to go with it.

If you look at the web page of the state party I tried working with there is nothing going on: https://www.wisconsingreenparty.org/contribute

Yikes😬 That was awful.
What a dumb ad. Thanks for posting, Mark.
They've perfected such messaging nonsense.
