In the world of politics, boundaries are often pretty squishy. Ideals run up against practicalities of budgets, votes, necessary compromise and essential alliances. But there is one absolute political boundary that cannot be minimized or dismissed: Genocide.

Of the many depravities and crimes of humankind, genocide — the intentional eradication of a targeted ethnic, racial or religious group — is the absolute worst. Nothing excuses it and no ‘good’ counterbalances such methodical evil. Evil Adolph Hitler did a lot of good for the Germans, pulling them out of the Great Depression, bringing jobs to the unemployed and building infrastructure, like the Autobahn. But of that, none offset the grotesque brutality of the genocidal Holocaust carried out by military death squads and the industrialized network of death camps.

As Jewish peace organizations standing courageously against the Gaza genocide note: “Never Again, Means Never Again … For Anyone, Anywhere.”

Now we have today’s US/Israeli genocide in Gaza.

The Democrats own this genocide

Let’s be clear, given that every day of the past ten months, Pres. Joe “I am a Zionist” Biden could have stopped the grinding genocide with a single phone call. Without the non-stop flights of American munitions and transfers of funding, Israel’s military would sputter to a stop in three days.

The cynical pantomime of Sec. of State Tony Blinken flitting about to “get a ceasefire” is sabotaged by an insincere Israel — up to assassinating the lead Hamas negotiator — and facilitated by Biden’s complete subservience to his ZioNazis bosses (owners) in Tel Aviv.

As the repulsive tongue bath Netanyahu received from his Congressional employees during his recent State of the Genocidal Union speech demonstrated, both parties are active collaborators in crime. And even of those 100 or so congressional members who boycotted the speech, nearly all dutifully did as their ‘AIPAC babysitters’ ordered and voted for previous genocide appropriations. But given Biden alone could bring it to a halt, the ultimate sin rests squarely with the Democrats, and those who vote for them.

Given all that, as Ali Abunimah of the Electronic Intifada notes, the proper name for what is happening in Gaza is the ‘Democratic Party Genocide’. This horror show is fully on the Democrats. And let’s be clear: If you support the Democrats, you fully and completely support this…

Empty theater

Despite a few non-committal comments about a possible ceasefire and some gestures of outreach to Muslim uncommitted groups by the Harris/Walz campaign, it’s all empty theater. The Zionist lobby owns both parties, from top to bottom, inside/out and the genocide will go on just as long as it is in Bibi Netanyahu’s personal interest.

There was a time during the Obama years when I served as the co-chair of my county Democratic Party. I helped with campaigns, helped staff party headquarters, stuffed envelopes, donated to the party, assisted on the communication committee and felt there was some genuine hope for the party creating a better country … a better world. When the chairman and I began expressing some concerns over Obama’s direction we were — POP! — very neatly replaced in a well-orchestrated surprise coup led by people we had worked with and helped. Ah, the true nature of Dem Party politics!

I left the party a year or so later.

I came out of that experience with an insight about the two parties that is currently on clear display with the genocide; while the Republicans are honestly dishonest about their blatant campaign lies about caring for working families, the Democrats are dishonestly dishonest, in that they will say the right thing then quietly slither away from their promises once in office.

The Republicans laugh in your face while the Democrats snicker behind closed doors.

And as we see now from a completely orchestrated primary process resulting in a presidential candidate that did not earn a single vote, there’s absolutely nothing democratic about the Democratic Party.

The other great truth is from former third-party and independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader, who has noted, “The lesser of two evils is still evil.”

And that has led the nation to this place of submission to a tiny foreign nation and the absolute irredeemable bipartisan dark evil that is now our genocide in Gaza.

Kamala Harris Hosted White House Viewing Of Debunked Film Of Palestinian Torture Used To Push Mass Rape Lie

Vice President Kamala Harris is to host a White House screening of Sheryl Sandberg’s Screams Before Silence on Monday, a film which includes “confession” footage of Palestinians who were almost certainly tortured by Israel, to support Tel Aviv’s 7 October mass rapes lie.

In promoting the event, Democratic Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz lied in a CNN interview that she had personally watched videos of a rape in progress, footage that Israeli and international investigators have determined does not exist.

The screening is the result of a collaboration between the White House Gender Policy Council and several Israel lobby groups, according to Jewish Insider.

Invitations have been sent “to all the major feminist and women’s rights organizations,” the publication says. The Israel lobby appears to be using the event as a litmus test to see which of these groups is falling into line behind Israel’s propaganda narrative.

Jewish Insider says that “keeping an eye on the audience of the event will be revealing.”

Proven liars

The Sandberg film released in late April disseminates Israeli atrocity propaganda claiming without any credible evidence, and based on proven lies, that Hamas ordered its fighters to use rape as a weapon of war on a wide scale on 7 October 2023.

In an article promoting the White House screening, The Jerusalem Post asserts that: “The silence of most women’s and human rights organization about the sexual assaults committed by Hamas on October 7, which included mass rape and genital mutilation, prompted former Meta COO and author Sandberg to make this documentary, which was directed by Anat Stalinsky.”

The Electronic Intifada’s livestream examined the Sandberg film in meticulous detail last month and demonstrated using Israeli and UN sources how the so-called witnesses interviewed by Sandberg were lying.

As we noted, human rights defenders have rejected the use of confession videos released by Israel because they almost certainly have been the fruit of torture in a situation where detainees are afforded no due process rights.

Amnesty International is one rights group that noted a dramatic increase of Israel’s use of “horrifying” torture in the weeks following 7 October.

Despite the 7 October rape claims being thoroughly and repeatedly debunked, Israel and its lobby keep attempting to revive them, and are now receiving the high-level support of the Biden White House to do so.

In The Electronic Intifada’s latest livestream, we looked at how a recent article in The Times of London has become the first mainstream outlet to admit that there is no evidence for the mass rape claim.

We also discuss the findings of the UN’s independent Commission of Inquiry, which also says it could not verify any of the rape claims.

During President Biden’s speech on the first night of the DNC, protesters briefly unfurled a banner that read “Stop Arming Israel,” before it was wrested away by convention staff.

We speak to three members of the group Delegates Against Genocide who organized and carried out the action: Esam Boraey, a human rights activist and delegate from Connecticut; Florida DNC member Nadia Ahmad; and progressive Jewish activist Liano Sharon, an elected delegate from Michigan.

“We were there specifically to confront President Joe Biden,” says Ahmad, explaining why the protesters chose to disrupt Biden’s speech. “He’s the one who can stop this genocide by picking up the phone and making a phone call, and he has chosen not to do that.”
